Athy Film Club

Promoting world and classic film

Athy Community College Cinema, Monasterevin Road, Athy
086 2112046

Athy Film Club was established in Jan 2010, affiliated with Access Cinema. The aim of the Film Club is to give local audiences the opportunity to see a range of world and classic cinema that rarely make it to commercial cinema.

Only the very best films will be screened by Athy Film Club, on the first Tuesday of every month. Refreshment facilities are provided where people can socialize and discuss the forthcoming film prior to screening.

The Film Club wants to establish themselves as an integral part of Athy's vibrant social and cultural scene. The Film Club will screen a wide variety of films with members of the Film Club participating in the selection process. The Film Club wants to attract members of varying nationalities and cultures and this can be reflected in the multi-cultural themes of the films we show.

Special discounts are provided by the Club for Job seekers, OAP'S and students. Membership €50, discount membership €40 - this will include a full season of eighteen screenings.
